The Metchosin Equestrian Society is a non-profit society horse club that was formed in 1988 to provide riding facilities, take care of the Municipal Riding Ring and establish a permanent trail system in Metchosin.

Metchosin is between Victoria and Sooke on Lower Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

By joining the Metchosin Equestrian Society (MES), you are supporting an organization which oversees the Municipal Riding Ring, participates in trail development and maintenance throughout Metchosin, and keeps a watch on Council to ensure that items concerning horse owners are carefully scrutinized and quickly brought to the attention of members if any group action is requires.  

The MES organizes horse events, guided trail rides, clinics, work parties, and events including the Hoof and Woof, Wild Goose Chase, Stirrup Cup and more.
